Hong Kong people are renowned for their hard work; the common problems of long working hours, urgency, and high stress have long-term effects on our health and quality of life.
We use adaptability and flexibility to win in the market, to the point where most people are too quick, even when it comes to eating. Food is prepared in advance so quickly that it becomes "not fresh/eternal," "high in salt," and "heavy in flavor."
At the same time, we like freshness and explore cuisines from around the world, neglecting local freshness. Food loses its taste and aroma due to long-distance transportation, products rotate without the accumulation of time/experience, and food becomes superficial, lacking depth or a real story. There's no time to enrich content, becoming only "beautiful."
Therefore, ECfood is committed to addressing small needs with great attention, sourcing additives-free, KETO, gluten-free, or vegan foods. We aim to collaborate with local chefs to design more delicious snacks suitable for Hong Kong people, providing those in need who want their bodies/skin to absorb simpler, healthier nutrition with an ECfamily that cares more about quality.
